When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Christophe Gire took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin to make any attempt to save it. After 11 played minutes, Orcines's Charlie Laplagne shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adrien Boche came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Orcines reached it. 14 minutes into the match, Orcines's goalkeeper Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christophe Gire. Thibaut Aubineau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Clem Riss took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin to make any attempt to save it. 23 minutes into the match, Clem Riss dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin, 3-0. Orcines's Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Élie Gamet in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Orcines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Étienne Horel to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Sorges's Christophe Gire fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Christophe Gire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin having to interfere. Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christophe Gire in the 40th minute of the match. Adrien Boche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilal Sakho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romuald Dechamps stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Sorges's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Charles-Henri Mounier who took care of the corner kick. If Christophe Gire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes of play, Sorges's Élie Gamet made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the match, Joël Pourchet notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Orcines's Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin. Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hercule Pichot's late challenge caught a Orcines's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hercule Pichot helped the player get up and apologised. Hercule Pichot hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christophe Gire, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Christophe Gire put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin. Élie Gamet might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Élie Gamet ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the game, Clem Riss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clem Riss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
