Jimmy De Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jimmy De Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Olympique de Batjax got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy De Barros. In the 15th match minute, Olympique de Batjax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastien Dusart to maneuver through the defense. Lyon 69ers's Anatol Hönes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Mathias Lecanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Maël Brulin made a huge save. Pierre Peeters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendan Tête, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Anatol Hönes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maël Brulin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Augustin Guez hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Marian Racoviceanu successfully managed to get himself past Olympique de Batjax's defense and had a dream possibility and totally alone with Maël Brulin everyone thought he would score, but the ball went just outside the top right corner. Maël Brulin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Racoviceanu in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anatol Hönes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Anatol Hönes sped through Olympique de Batjax's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maël Brulin. Maël Brulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Beaune in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match Lyon 69ers got a corner. Olympique de Batjax's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marian Racoviceanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Lyon 69ers's Marian Racoviceanu to fire away a dangerous shot which Maël Brulin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Maël Brulin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatol Hönes in the 61st minute of the match. Tom Beaune took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maël Brulin. Maël Brulin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 69th minute Tom Beaune shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maël Brulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maël Brulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salim Desbois, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Mathias Lecanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maël Brulin having to interfere. Lyon 69ers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
