A collision led to Valette Stars getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Armand Plaza hit a great ball. Cats and dogs's Nicolas Hamard got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Valette Stars booed when Cats and dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Emmanuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cats and dogs's zone, Rafail Rusev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joe Camp came out of the goal and Rafail Rusev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaétan Bouchard got free with Adrien Tanneau in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute Rafail Rusev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Camp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cats and dogs's Joe Camp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafail Rusev in the 80th minute of play. Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Valette Stars from getting a goal against them. Nicolas Hamard received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Valette Stars from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cats and dogs eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
