John-Paul Marquant blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ziemowit Harasimowicz having to make a save. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Ziemowit Harasimowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Paul Marquant in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Beauval in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelino Flor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute Abraham Beauval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelino Flor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Beauval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ziemowit Harasimowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Paul Marquant in the 21st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelino Flor. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. Ziemowit Harasimowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John-Paul Marquant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Flor made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Abraham Beauval sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute of the match Les Pionniers de Touraine got a corner. Green Madness's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Beauval ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Les Pionniers de Touraine's corner Cuauhtémoc Cardenas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelino Flor quite easily take care of the ball. Mickaël Métenier hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Terry Peysson made a kick off. Abraham Beauval might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelino Flor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abraham Beauval ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Beauval in the 51st minute of play forced Green Madness's goalkeeper Marcelino Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphaël Lallemand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Green Madness made a substitution. Rick Sánchez replaced Serge Grandidier. Les Pionniers de Touraine made a substitution. Désiré Alberto replaced Patryk Kopacz. Green Madness's Arnoldo Betadur quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cuauhtémoc Cardenas, made in the 62nd minute of the game. If John-Paul Marquant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Green Madness's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl Kubler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 94th minute Karl Kubler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Les Pionniers de Touraine were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Green Madness for a fine match.
