Tommy Rein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Martin Knudsen in the 26th minute of the match. Jón Hansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Jónsson in the 27th minute of the match. Rothley's Jón Hansen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Rothley from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Andy Jónsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fróði Hansen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Rein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Martin Knudsen went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Kvívík players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rothley were winning 0-2.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrew T. Hansen during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kvívík's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christian á Borg in the 59th minute. Regin Benjaminsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jón Hansen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Regin Benjaminsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fróði Hansen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Martin Knudsen in the 70th minute of play forced Kvívík's goalkeeper Tommy Rein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fróði Hansen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Tommy Rein made a huge save. A collision led to Kvívík getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jens Anghel hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kvívík's zone, Fróði Hansen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Rein came out of the goal and Fróði Hansen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 minutes, Andy Djurhuus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rothley and the Kvívík players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Rothley got a freekick which was hit by Andy Djurhuus. Christian Martin Knudsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Rein having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Regin Benjaminsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rothley's Jón Hansen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andy Jónsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jón Hansen having to interfere. Jákup Frederiksberg kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 95th minute Andy Jónsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jón Hansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Fróði Hansen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Rein. Kvívík's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fróði Hansen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.
