Spectators: 6848 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Enok Fredriksen kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by John Norðbúð. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ásbjørn Jacobsen in the 8th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Per av Fløtum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ásbjørn Jacobsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalur ÍF 's Sorin Samuelsen got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Dalur ÍF 's zone, Zsolt Djurhuus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atli Jónsson came out of the goal and Zsolt Djurhuus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enok Fredriksen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atli Jónsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Enok Fredriksen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Atli Jónsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heri Troest Davidsen to maneuver through the defense. Sorin Samuelsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per av Fløtum having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dalur ÍF 's zone, Zsolt Djurhuus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atli Jónsson came out of the goal and Zsolt Djurhuus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Dalur ÍF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torkil Falkenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zsolt Djurhuus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ásbjørn Jacobsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Sigurd Johannesen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Djurhuus to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enok Fredriksen in the 61st minute of play forced Dalur ÍF 's goalkeeper Atli Jónsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per av Fløtum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Samuelsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Sorin Samuelsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Per av Fløtum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zsolt Djurhuus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ásbjørn Jacobsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dalur ÍF 's supporters rose to their feet, but Ásbjørn Jacobsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per av Fløtum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per av Fløtum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Samuelsen in the 91st minute of play.
