Tonny Danielsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens Heri Dam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hunslet's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafał Troest Davidsen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lambareiði's Egil í Lon Jacobsen got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigurd Jónsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafał Troest Davidsen in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens Heri Dam was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Rafał Troest Davidsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hunslet's Sigurd Jónsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hjalgrím Thomassen might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sigurd Jónsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hjalgrím Thomassen ran back to his position shaking his head. Sigurd Jónsson made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Jens Rói Jacobsen sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Jens Rói Jacobsen sped through Hunslet's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sigurd Jónsson. After a defensive mix-up in Hunslet's zone, Rafał Troest Davidsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigurd Jónsson came out of the goal and Rafał Troest Davidsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egil í Lon Jacobsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sigurd Jónsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Hunslet players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
