Strendur ÍF's Ronnie Kruse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Strendur ÍF from getting a goal against them. Ronnie Kruse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torkil Rein in the 20th minute of the match. Strendur ÍF's Ronnie Kruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torkil Rein in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Strendur ÍF booed when Sund Bóltfelag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nenad Joensen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egil í Lon Jacobsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alex Rói Jacobsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torkil Rein made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Christian Høgni Jacobsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sund Bóltfelag fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 54 minutes into the match, Christian Høgni Jacobsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronnie Kruse. Strendur ÍF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Høgni Jacobsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Christian Høgni Jacobsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronnie Kruse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torkil Rein in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torkil Rein in the 60th minute of play forced Strendur ÍF's goalkeeper Ronnie Kruse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Sund Bóltfelag 's Christian Høgni Jacobsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronnie Kruse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. If Jann Mikkelsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Christian Høgni Jacobsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sund Bóltfelag 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Høgni Jacobsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Sund Bóltfelag 's Christian Høgni Jacobsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The referee ignored Strendur ÍF's protests and gave Óli Thomassen a yellow card for diving instead. Torkil Rein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ronnie Kruse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sund Bóltfelag walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
