The Zagueiros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rógvi Jacobsen should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fríðrikur Hans Rubeksen in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jákup Samuelsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Jens Rein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rógvi Jacobsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Christian Hansen in the 20th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Fríðrikur Hans Rubeksen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Fríðrikur Hans Rubeksen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jákup Samuelsen. Tíðarskeið's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fríðrikur Hans Rubeksen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Tíðarskeið's Jens Rein sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rógvi Jacobsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 40 played minutes Zagueiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Per Rói Jacobsen. In the 41st minute, Jens Rein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pól Jacobsen during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tíðarskeið's Pól Jacobsen got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Fríðrikur Hans Rubeksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hanus Jacobsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Zagueiros FC's Pauli Løkin got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58thth minute of the game Jens Christian Hansen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zagueiros FC's Rógvi Jacobsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens Olsen during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zagueiros FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jens Olsen hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Tíðarskeið's Bergur Jacobsen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fríðrikur Hans Rubeksen got free with Jákup Samuelsen in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute, Óli Hans Rubeksen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fríðrikur Hans Rubeksen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jákup Samuelsen having to make a save. Pauli Løkin charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pauli Løkin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zagueiros FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Pauli Løkin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zagueiros FC's zone, Jens Rein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rógvi Jacobsen came out of the goal and Jens Rein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens Christian Hansen struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Rógvi Jacobsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tíðarskeið. After 91 played minutes Tíðarskeið got a freekick which was hit by Hanus Rein. Jákup Samuelsen made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Fríðrikur Hans Rubeksen sent off a good shot on target. Fríðrikur Hans Rubeksen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zagueiros FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tíðarskeið.
