After a defensive mix-up in Vestmanna FS's zone, Gert Egholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen came out of the goal and Gert Egholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anderson Davy Sylla's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Gert Egholm in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Regin Johannesen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Højsted's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Vestmanna FS's Brian Højsted got a free kick in the 17th minute. The supporters of Goleiros FC booed when Vestmanna FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Matras didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Brian Færø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Goleiros FC! Alex Rói Jacobsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Regin Johannesen having to interfere. Herbert Kruse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brian Færø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Regin Johannesen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brian Færø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Goleiros FC's Regin Johannesen got control of the ball when Brian Højsted tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, one of Goleiros FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 68 minutes into the game, Bárður Thomassen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goleiros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vestmanna FS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Goleiros FC's Jákup Thomassen got a free kick in the 75th minute. 77 minutes in the game, Brian Højsted fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Regin Johannesen having to interfere. Brian Færø who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Regin Johannesen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anderson Davy Sylla in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen saved Vestmanna FS from getting behind. Vestmanna FS's Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Davy Sylla in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Egholm in the 85th minute of play forced Vestmanna FS's goalkeeper Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 90th minute of the match Jákup Thomassen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jákup Thomassen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Goleiros FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jákup Thomassen hit a great ball. Vestmanna FS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amed Olsen in the 94th minute. Regin Johannesen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Højsted, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. 0-4 became the score in the 98th minute when Brian Højsted elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Vestmanna FS played a much better game than Goleiros FC and deserved their victory. The Goleiros FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
