GÍ Gøta's Óli á Borg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 8th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Óli á Borg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the game, Sorin Tórgarð was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tíðarskeið's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GÍ Gøta the free kick. In the 19th minute, GÍ Gøta's Óli á Borg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. After having played for 25 minutes, Óli á Borg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GÍ Gøta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Óli á Borg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Bogi Rói Jacobsen put in a rough tackle. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Óli á Borg in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jákup Samuelsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 冯杰凌 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jákup Samuelsen having to make a save. Óli á Borg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 冯杰凌 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jákup Samuelsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Óli á Borg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Jákup Samuelsen made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, Tíðarskeið's goalkeeper Jákup Samuelsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Óli á Borg. Jákup Samuelsen made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Óli á Borg sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Jákup Samuelsen managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when GÍ Gøta's Óli á Borg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Tíðarskeið's Hanus Rein got a free kick in the 47th minute. GÍ Gøta made a substitution. Fróði Danielsen replaced Símun Kruse. Hanus Rein hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on GÍ Gøta's corner Jerzy Maurycy fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jákup Samuelsen quite easily take care of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens Rein made a kick off. If Óli á Borg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. GÍ Gøta's Óli á Borg got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jákup Samuelsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 冯杰凌 in the 60th minute of the match. Jens Rein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juliusz Kissel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jákup Samuelsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jákup Samuelsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Óli á Borg, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 65 minutes, Bergur Jacobsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tíðarskeið and the GÍ Gøta players grew even worse after the yellow card. 68 minutes into the game, Battal Seyyit Erenoz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jákup Samuelsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jákup Samuelsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Óli á Borg, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Tíðarskeið's goal looked a bit too open when Óli á Borg came free, but Jákup Samuelsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GÍ Gøta's Hanus Nolsøe was substituted for Hans Midjord. 77 minutes into the game, Hanus Rein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óli á Borg in the 78th minute of play forced Tíðarskeið's goalkeeper Jákup Samuelsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Tíðarskeið fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jákup Samuelsen should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute, Óli á Borg made a precise shot to the right of Jákup Samuelsen. Tíðarskeið's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Tíðarskeið's Jákup Samuelsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Battal Seyyit Erenoz in the 99th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. GÍ Gøta fully deserved thier win.
