In the 6th match minute, Norðdepil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristoffer Hederup to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Kristoffer Hederup cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Óli á Borg had several of the Norðdepil's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed José Sarmento as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Norðdepil getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Tummas Jacobsen hit a great ball. José Sarmento acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jerzy Maurycy. The audience thought a goal was coming when Óli á Borg got free with José Sarmento in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norðdepil's José Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Norðdepil from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as GÍ Gøta's 冯杰凌 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Sarmento. That made the score 2-1 after 22 minutes of play. José Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Kissel, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. José Sarmento made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Óli á Borg sent off a good shot on target. José Sarmento was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Óli á Borg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Óli á Borg really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. José Sarmento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Battal Seyyit Erenoz in the 31st minute. Usama Laden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristoffer Hederup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Antonio Barcoj's late challenge caught a GÍ Gøta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Norðdepil's goalkeeper José Sarmento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Francisco Antonio Barcoj was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 37 played minutes Norðdepil got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Antonio Barcoj. 40 minutes into the match, Juliusz Kissel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Sarmento, 4-1. In the 44th minute, Leif Fróði Hansen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, GÍ Gøta's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Wielopolski came free, but Usama Laden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

GÍ Gøta's Fróði Danielsen was substituted for Símun Kruse. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Óli á Borg to strike the kick off in the second half. Norðdepil's José Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Maurycy in the 53rd minute of play. In the 78th minute, 冯杰凌 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Óli á Borg took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Sarmento. José Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. José Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 冯杰凌 in the 88th minute of play. 冯杰凌 took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Sarmento. José Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-2. 冯杰凌 hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The supporters of Norðdepil booed when GÍ Gøta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. 冯杰凌 didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that GÍ Gøta were the better team. GÍ Gøta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
