Herbert Kruse started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Ingi Hansen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vestmanna FS's Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sámal Jónsson in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Vestmanna FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Rói Jacobsen to maneuver through the defense. Meio Campo's Kristjan Midjurd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Kruse in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Nenad Joensen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meio Campo's supporters rose to their feet, but Nenad Joensen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Vestmanna FS defense, Jónhard Nielsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen. The Vestmanna FS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Brian Færø reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kristjan Midjurd. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 31st minute, Ingi Hansen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meio Campo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingi Hansen, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 34 minutes, Brian Højsted mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vestmanna FS and the Meio Campo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brian Højsted kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Jónhard Nielsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen having to interfere. Ingi Hansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vestmanna FS's Brian Højsted managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nenad Joensen in the 45 minute of the game. In the 47th match minute, Vestmanna FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Færø to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Meio Campo were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sámal Jónsson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Meio Campo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jónhard Højsted to maneuver through the defense. After 55 played minutes Vestmanna FS got a freekick which was hit by Alex Rói Jacobsen. Meio Campo's Ingi Hansen got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Brian Færø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Kristjan Midjurd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Vestmanna FS getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Brian Højsted hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes Vestmanna FS got a freekick which was hit by Brian Færø. Jónhard Højsted kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Kristjan Midjurd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Kruse in the 70th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Meio Campo's Sámal Jónsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen. That made the score 2-4 after 75 minutes of play. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingi Hansen in the 78th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Vestmanna FS got a freekick which was hit by Alex Rói Jacobsen. Brian Færø kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Kristjan Midjurd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Rói Jacobsen in the 83rd minute of play. Brian Højsted hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Meio Campo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
