Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Regin Johannesen in the 9th minute of play. Vestmanna FS's Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bárður Thomassen in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Brian Højsted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 played minutes Vestmanna FS got a freekick which was hit by Brian Højsted. Vestmanna FS's Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Regin Johannesen in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vestmanna FS's zone, Bárður Thomassen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen came out of the goal and Bárður Thomassen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bárður Thomassen in the 52nd minute of the match. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen was a little too slow when Bárður Thomassen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-1. After 58 minutes, Jónleif Jacobsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vestmanna FS and the Goleiros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Vestmanna FS got a freekick which was hit by Jónleif Jacobsen. Bárður Thomassen scored 0-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Goleiros FC's Bárður Thomassen got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zsolt Troest Davidsen during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Goleiros FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Zsolt Troest Davidsen hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Brian Færø was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vestmanna FS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goleiros FC the free kick. Brian Færø kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Regin Johannesen in the 84th minute of play forced Vestmanna FS's goalkeeper Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Goleiros FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vestmanna FS.
