Babbis Aggeliadis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Maxime Durand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sanderlend's Sverker Fanström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 40th minute of play. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Aggeliadis in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Babbis Aggeliadis made the kick off in the second half. Jasin Jelić kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Babbis Aggeliadis sped through France's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. Sanderlend's Sverker Fanström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the game, Babbis Aggeliadis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Babbis Aggeliadis in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Luo Jun Feng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanderlend's supporters rose to their feet, but Luo Jun Feng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. France's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
