Spectators: 6682 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xesc Otero started the match with the kick off. In the 12th minute Quico Huguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vermudo Olle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xesc Otero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Tormes having to interfere. Dominic Valverde took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardino Tormes. Bernardino Tormes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Xesc Otero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pola's Bernardino Tormes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesc Otero in the 37th minute of play. Vermudo Olle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quico Huguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quico Huguet made a kick off. After a rather tough play, LoS cArBoNiLLAs's Nabucodonosor Marques got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Vermudo Olle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chepe Erosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 56 in the game by Dominic Valverde from a close distance when the talented Bernardino Tormes managed to make a qualified save. Pola's players were relieved. Vermudo Olle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quico Huguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Quico Huguet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vermudo Olle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Chepe Erosa struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Vermudo Olle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pola. When Pola's Quico Huguet in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LoS cArBoNiLLAs's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to LoS cArBoNiLLAs getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Xesc Otero hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xesc Otero in the 84th minute of play forced Pola's goalkeeper Bernardino Tormes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xesc Otero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Tormes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quico Huguet in the 91st minute of play forced LoS cArBoNiLLAs's goalkeeper Vermudo Olle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chepe Erosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vermudo Olle having to interfere. With a little luck, Pola's Bernardino Tormes got control of the ball when Dominic Valverde tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the LoS cArBoNiLLAs players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
