The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quico Huguet was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xesc Otero in the 52nd minute of play forced Pola's goalkeeper Bernardino Tormes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LoS cArBoNiLLAs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chepe Erosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 77th minute, Dominic Valverde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardino Tormes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 85th match minute, LoS cArBoNiLLAs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Serra to maneuver through the defense. Chepe Erosa had several of the LoS cArBoNiLLAs's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Vermudo Olle as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 93 played minutes, Pola's Xicu Verges shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vermudo Olle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pola reached it. Pola's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
