César Elguero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicodemo Pena. Defensor Sporting Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Zapatero in the 9th minute of play forced Defensor Sporting Uruguay's goalkeeper Nicodemo Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicodemo Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Zapatero in the 11th minute of the match. Beti Blazquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Arratia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Honorio Manzano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensor Sporting Uruguay and the ZATOIA RIVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Defensor Sporting Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Manzano. Eguzki Ladra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nicodemo Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ZATOIA RIVER's Gilberto Arratia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beti Blazquez in the 22nd minute of play. Gilberto Arratia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salbatore Moreno in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Romeo Zapatero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eguzki Ladra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Defensor Sporting Uruguay's Salbatore Moreno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilberto Arratia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 36 played minutes ZATOIA RIVER got a freekick which was hit by Jago Rajoi. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Romeo Zapatero managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZATOIA RIVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Zapatero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicodemo Pena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute Romeo Zapatero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodemo Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Romeo Zapatero made the kick off in the second half. Beti Blazquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gilberto Arratia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eguzki Ladra struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Nicodemo Pena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZATOIA RIVER. Defensor Sporting Uruguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Romeo Zapatero scored to the left of an out of position Nicodemo Pena, making the score, 0-1. Gilberto Arratia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salbatore Moreno in the 62nd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Beti Blazquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Arratia. ZATOIA RIVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beti Blazquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 81 minutes, Salbatore Moreno made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. ZATOIA RIVER's Gilberto Arratia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilberto Arratia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beti Blazquez in the 85th minute of play. Defensor Sporting Uruguay were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ZATOIA RIVER for a fine match.
