The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, KANTERO CF's Adriano Jorquera got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Diego Maradona received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. William Barro came out and tried to block the shot, but Diego Maradona slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute, Sebastián Elguero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Campomanes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Zigor Urbina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ARSENAL DE SANTA FE C. F.'s Duarte Campomanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Elguero in the 11th minute of play. Benja Quintero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, William Barro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. William Barro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benja Quintero in the 19th minute. Benja Quintero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ARSENAL DE SANTA FE C. F.'s Duarte Campomanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigor Urbina in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, ARSENAL DE SANTA FE C. F.'s Benja Quintero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that William Barro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benja Quintero in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Barro saved KANTERO CF from getting behind. Benja Quinteros short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got William Barro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 30th play minutes Benja Quintero shot 2-1, a short shot which went by William Barro and just under the crossbar into goal. Pepe Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. William Barro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benja Quintero in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Diego Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Barro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st play minute Benja Quintero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised William Barro. 3-1. If Diego Maradona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benja Quintero to strike the kick off in the second half. Zigor Urbina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 55 minutes into the match, KANTERO CF's goal looked a bit too open when Benja Quintero came free, but William Barro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benja Quintero hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When ARSENAL DE SANTA FE C. Arnas Navarro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Alexander Chamberlain managed to get in a good position for a shot. ARSENAL DE SANTA FE C. F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Chamberlain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Barro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, ARSENAL DE SANTA FE C. F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zigor Urbina came free, but Duarte Campomanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Adriano Jorquera fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KANTERO CF's protests and gave Adriano Jorquera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Adriano Jorquera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ARSENAL DE SANTA FE C. F. booed when KANTERO CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Jorquera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ansuro Paris hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. KANTERO CF's William Barro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benja Quintero in the 87th minute of play.
