Almenara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesaro Ucero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Placido Ignado shot from long distance after 46 played minutes, a shot that Conrado Salan with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matías Cardoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match, Ginés Escobar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adrián Feal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 72nd minute Pirro Cerreri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Salan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matías Cardoso in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conrado Salan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Mondron booed when Almenara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pirro Cerreri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Almenara's Nabucodonosor Quintanilla seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nabucodonosor Quintanilla the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Almenara protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nabucodonosor Quintanilla had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 82 minutes into the game, one of Almenara:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lano Santiago walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Paulin Diez fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almenara's protests and gave Paulin Diez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute of the match Rubén Alcalde sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrián Feal skillfully saved the ball. Mondron's Conrado Salan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Ignado in the 91st minute of play. Adrián Feal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ginés Escobar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 93 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Mondron left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Almenara.
