The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, C.D. Logroñes's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnin Climent came free, but Jörn Pilberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörn Pilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnin Climent, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With a little luck, C.D. Logroñes's Jörn Pilberg got control of the ball when Xepe Cambero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paul Adán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Treviño having to interfere. If Arnalt Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörn Pilberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. C.D. Logroñes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Galindo Manrique scored to the left of an out of position Jörn Pilberg, making the score, 2-0. In the 31st play minute Xepe Cambero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jörn Pilberg. 3-0. Jörn Pilberg made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Xepe Cambero sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galindo Manrique in the 37th minute of play forced C.D. Logroñes's goalkeeper Jörn Pilberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörn Pilberg made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Arnalt Torres sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, C.D. Logroñes's Paul Adán sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Treviño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. C.D. Logroñes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Galindo Manrique scored to the left of an out of position Jörn Pilberg, making the score, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnalt Torres in the 53rd minute of play forced C.D. Logroñes's goalkeeper Jörn Pilberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Xepe Cambero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jörn Pilberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jörn Pilberg came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Taravil SAD's Chap Valcarcel. But to his dismay, Chap Valcarcel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Jörn Pilberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chap Valcarcel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Justin Millán fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D. Logroñes's protests and gave Justin Millán a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.D. Logroñes getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Justin Millán hit a great ball. Jörn Pilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chap Valcarcel in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Saturnin Climent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörn Pilberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Logroñes's goal looked a bit too open when Chap Valcarcel came free, but Jörn Pilberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Adán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jacinto Treviño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chap Valcarcel took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörn Pilberg. Jörn Pilberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. When Chap Valcarcel came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Taravil SAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chap Valcarcel couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute Arnalt Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörn Pilberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes into the game, Arnalt Torres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Jörn Pilberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Taravil SAD players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
