Plauto Calatayud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uzuri Barral having to interfere. In the 25thth minute of the game Plauto Calatayud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Mauro SD's Uzuri Barral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, San Mauro SD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Plauto Calatayud fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cervia De Les Garriques's Rogelio Talavera got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jakes Acosta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Plauto Calatayud might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uzuri Barral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Plauto Calatayud ran back to his position shaking his head. If Iñigo Marrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Zapico to strike the kick off in the second half. Luis Zapico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakes Acosta having to interfere. If Plauto Calatayud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Rogelio Talavera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uzuri Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Plauto Calatayud in the 66th minute of the match. When Iñigo Marrero fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Mauro SD's protests and gave Iñigo Marrero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Iñigo Marrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Contratas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match.
