In the 8th minute Eufemio Santalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emeterio Zárate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emeterio Zárate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eufemio Santalla in the 11th minute of the match. Tarraconense's Marcos Barro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demario Abajas in the 21st minute of play. Emeterio Zárate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Demario Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Solana in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcos Barro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 28th minute, Mustafá Turienzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, Eufemio Santalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. The Zola Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emeterio Zárate should have stopped the shot. Zola Team's Emeterio Zárate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Rosario in the 45th minute of play. Marcos Barro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demario Abajas in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Eufemio Santalla made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Zola Team's goal looked a bit too open when Eufemio Santalla came free, but Emeterio Zárate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eufemio Santalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zola Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Gervasio Reyes scored to the left of an out of position Emeterio Zárate, making the score, 1-4. In the 71st minute of the match Francesco Urquijo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Barro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcos Barro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demario Abajas in the 72nd minute of play. Marcos Barro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demario Abajas in the 73rd minute of the match.
