Inter de Baires were furious when Medero Morado was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 13 minutes into the game, one of Inter de Baires:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mustafá Turienzo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Emeterio Zárate successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd minute Toni Viqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emeterio Zárate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramón Ramis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Emeterio Zárate made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramón Ramis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emeterio Zárate. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. After 33 played minutes Zola Team got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Coya. Cordeiro Barberá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demario Abajas in the 36th minute of the match. Demario Abajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cordeiro Barberá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Raimundo Solana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordeiro Barberá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inter de Baires's Cordeiro Barberá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Solana in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Inter de Baires's goal looked a bit too open when Demario Abajas came free, but Cordeiro Barberá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toni Viqueira's late challenge caught a Zola Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toni Viqueira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Inter de Baires's Toni Viqueira got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the Zola Team defense, Toni Viqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emeterio Zárate. The Zola Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emeterio Zárate should have stopped the shot. After 95 played minutes, Inter de Baires's Gaizka Zurica shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emeterio Zárate came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inter de Baires reached it. Inter de Baires were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zola Team for a fine match.
