The supporters of Montejaque booed when Vallfogona De Balaguer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Aguilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Urtsua Acosta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vallfogona De Balaguer's Germán Dellasierra didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Servando Ruiz in the 18th minute of play forced Vallfogona De Balaguer's goalkeeper Germán Dellasierra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Vallfogona De Balaguer's Pelayo Domenech got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Urtsua Acosta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Germán Dellasierra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th match minute, Vallfogona De Balaguer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aritz Saboya to maneuver through the defense. Germán Dellasierra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Taules's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Servando Ruiz struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Germán Dellasierra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montejaque. In the 33rd minute, Pelayo Domenech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ostadar Solera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Servando Ruiz took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germán Dellasierra. Germán Dellasierra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Servando Ruiz kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Vallfogona De Balaguer players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Montejaque were winning 0-2.

After having played for 52 minutes, Benito Taules managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montejaque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Taules was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Servando Ruiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Benito Taules cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Germán Dellasierra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Taules received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Germán Dellasierra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rutenio De Pablo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Alabern made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Aguilo in the 87th minute of play. Jose-Luis Moya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Enrique Alabern tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Pelayo Domenech was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vallfogona De Balaguer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montejaque the free kick. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Servando Ruiz took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Germán Dellasierra to make any attempt to save it. Montejaque's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
