But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toni Cuadrado couldn't finish the play. Wonka Team's Damian Treviño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Wonka Team from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Dénia Mar's Paulino Martínez got a free kick in the 11th minute. Toni Cuadrado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dénia Mar's Efren Prieto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fran Bastida in the 14th minute of play. If Fran Bastida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toni Cuadrado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Wonka Team's Fran Bastida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efren Prieto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Xosepin Buenafuente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Magdaleno Companys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Wonka Team's zone, Magdaleno Companys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Treviño came out of the goal and Magdaleno Companys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Treviño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xosepin Buenafuente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xosepin Buenafuente in the 48th minute of play forced Wonka Team's goalkeeper Damian Treviño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xosepin Buenafuente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Magdaleno Companys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Wonka Team's goal looked a bit too open when Xosepin Buenafuente came free, but Damian Treviño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dénia Mar's Hechter Alonso got a free kick in the 58th minute. Fran Bastida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Efren Prieto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Dénia Mar's goalkeeper Efren Prieto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toni Cuadrado. After a defensive mix-up in Dénia Mar's zone, Toni Cuadrado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efren Prieto came out of the goal and Toni Cuadrado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute Fran Bastida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efren Prieto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Dénia Mar getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Hechter Alonso hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Dénia Mar defense, Fran Bastida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efren Prieto. The Dénia Mar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efren Prieto should have stopped the shot. Efren Prieto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fran Bastida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toni Cuadrado in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Efren Prieto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice moves Gerard Ribas could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Efren Prieto however easily saved by the left post. The Wonka Team players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
