After a rather tough play, joshua team's Aznar Flores got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Josu Caballero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ponce Cifuentes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ponce Cifuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clot C.E.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ponce Cifuentes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cebrián Segura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the game, Nel Pedriza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. joshua team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clot C.E. the free kick. After 17 played minutes joshua team got a freekick which was hit by Nel Pedriza. If Ponce Cifuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rai Segura came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Clot C.E. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rai Segura couldn't finish the play. Ponce Cifuentes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cedro Millán scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cebrián Segura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st match minute, joshua team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Mingo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 43 minutes, Josu Caballero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clot C.E.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Josu Caballero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cebrián Segura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponce Cifuentes in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Clot C.E. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Mingo to strike the kick off in the second half. Rai Segura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cebrián Segura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, joshua team's Nel Pedriza got a free kick in the 61st minute. Eustaquio Mingo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Servando Villanueva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for joshua team. After a defensive mix-up in joshua team's zone, Rai Segura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cebrián Segura came out of the goal and Rai Segura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estefan Cabanela hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Rai Segura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Cebrián Segura made a huge save. In the 95th match minute, joshua team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nel Pedriza to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Ponce Cifuentes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
