The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Favila Vicente could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. After a defensive mix-up in Gargalla FC's zone, Benigno Rienda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Ladra came out of the goal and Benigno Rienda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gargalla FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! 21 minutes into the game, Mula Manka Esporte Clube's Benigno Rienda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Ladra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Pepe Alonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Favila Vicente in the 33rd minute of the match. Danny Moorhouse might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pepe Alonso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danny Moorhouse ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benigno Rienda was the one to do the kick off. If Favila Vicente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gargalla FC's Danny Moorhouse in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mula Manka Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danny Moorhouse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The audience was convinced that Danny Moorhouse 's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pepe Alonso was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 89th minute Favila Vicente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danny Moorhouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepe Alonso having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Gargalla FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
