Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mel Izquierdo made the kick off which started today's match. Severo Portillo made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Rodrigo Tobia sent off a good shot on target. In the 4th minute Amador Palacios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Flavio Arribas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amador Palacios in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Portillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Mel Izquierdo sped through Los hijos de Amunike's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Unai Gonzáles. Severo Portillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Palacios in the 18th minute of the match. Amador Palacios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Palacios in the 23rd minute of play forced Benetusser UD's goalkeeper Severo Portillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Portillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Tobia in the 24th minute. Severo Portillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Palacios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Tobia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Severo Portillo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 30th match minute, Benetusser UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabé Ramirez to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Los hijos de Amunike defense, Mel Izquierdo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Unai Gonzáles. The Los hijos de Amunike fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Unai Gonzáles should have stopped the shot. After 43 played minutes Los hijos de Amunike got a freekick which was hit by Luis Coello. Mel Izquierdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Unai Gonzáles having to interfere.

The wind increased when Amador Palacios made the kick off in the second half. Mel Izquierdo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lonzo Fonticoba charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lonzo Fonticoba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Los hijos de Amunike getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Lonzo Fonticoba hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Benetusser UD's Froilan Dagora tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Los hijos de Amunike's goalkeeper Unai Gonzáles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xoan Vazquez. Benetusser UD's Severo Portillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Tobia in the 63rd minute of play. Xoan Vazquez hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Benetusser UD defense, Rodrigo Tobia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severo Portillo. The Benetusser UD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severo Portillo should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Lonzo Fonticoba notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Benetusser UD's Severo Portillo. Severo Portillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Severo Portillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Palacios in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mel Izquierdo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Unai Gonzáles was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Unai Gonzáles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mel Izquierdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes Los hijos de Amunike got a freekick which was hit by Lonzo Fonticoba. Mel Izquierdo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Unai Gonzáles came out and tried to block the shot, but Mel Izquierdo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 85th minute. Mel Izquierdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Unai Gonzáles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lonzo Fonticoba was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 89th minute, one of Los hijos de Amunike:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los hijos de Amunike. The referee gave Benetusser UD a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mel Izquierdo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Los hijos de Amunike's Unai Gonzáles. 2-5. Rodrigo Tobia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Portillo having to interfere. If Mel Izquierdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
