The audience was convinced that Luis Urruti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ekaitz Gómez was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Lalla Sainz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Real Club Lugoslavia getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Sabin Silvestre hit a great ball. Lalla Sainz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Pujol in the 35th minute of play. Ekaitz Gómez went to the wrong direction when Nicholas Solo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a rather tough play, Real Club Lugoslavia's Eduardo Torrent got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Super V's Luis Urruti in 41 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ekaitz Gómez guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a rather tough play, Real Club Lugoslavia's Eneko Mayol got a free kick in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Pujol to make the kick off. Luis Urruti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Ekaitz Gómez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Real Club Lugoslavia had won after a very even match.
