The referee ignored F.C.BARCELONA's protests and gave Hustaz Castelao a yellow card for diving instead. Ion Camara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Bencoiechea in the 6th minute of the match. Patxi Losada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Ion Camara made a huge save. After a rather tough play, CYTY LEPE's Facundo Toxeiro got a free kick in the 10th minute. F.C.BARCELONA's Ion Camara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save F.C.BARCELONA from getting a goal against them. The supporters of F.C.BARCELONA booed when CYTY LEPE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lonzo Astudillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Michal Nakoneczny left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. CYTY LEPE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. CYTY LEPE's Etxave Madariaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Nakoneczny in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michal Nakoneczny to make the kick off. Despite this Etxave Madariaga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. F.C.BARCELONA made a substitution. Aranguiz Naranjo replaced Venancio Mata. 71 minutes into the match, Patxi Losada notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of F.C.BARCELONA's Ion Camara. Ion Camara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. F.C.BARCELONA's Xano Barroso was substituted for Hustaz Castelao. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvestre Sobrado got free with Etxave Madariaga in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. F.C.BARCELONA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
