Cardedeu AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timo Bencoiechea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Cordera Blazquez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timo Bencoiechea went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Geleberto Bellido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 21 played minutes Zestoa F.T. got a freekick which was hit by David Unzueta. Cordera Blazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Bencoiechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abrahan Darroja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Unax Vega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cardedeu AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zestoa F.T. the free kick. Timo Bencoiechea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Ballesteros hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Zestoa F.T.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
