Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gau Marrero started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Tiana FC booed when Pol UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiano Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 minutes, Ladio Nunez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pol UD and the Tiana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ladio Nunez kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Sinforiano Mera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gau Marrero in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Gau Marrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sinforiano Mera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiana FC's Gumersindo Portillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Negro in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Filomeno Abril was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pol UD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiana FC the free kick. Filomeno Abril hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. From close distance Luis Llorca pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 21 minutes into the game. In the 28thth minute of the game Niceto Negro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiana FC's Gumersindo Portillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Niceto Negro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pol UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Negro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gumersindo Portillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niceto Negro struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Gumersindo Portillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pol UD. Pol UD's Sinforiano Cartagena got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Negro in the 43rd minute of play forced Tiana FC's goalkeeper Gumersindo Portillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sinforiano Cartagena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gumersindo Portillo having to interfere. Norino Riba kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Sinforiano Cartagena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Gumersindo Portillo made a huge save. If Niceto Negro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Niceto Negro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gumersindo Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Arribas's late challenge caught a Pol UD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilfredo Arribas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tiana FC's Wilfredo Arribas got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 61st play minutes Niceto Negro shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Gumersindo Portillo and just under the crossbar into goal. After 65 minutes, Danilo Pujol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pol UD and the Tiana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gumersindo Portillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th play minute Sinforiano Cartagena came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gumersindo Portillo. 1-3. 89 minutes into the game, Andresito Marcos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiana FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pol UD the free kick. In the 89th minute, Andresito Marcos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sinforiano Cartagena kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Tiana FC's Gumersindo Portillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Tiana FC from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute, Niceto Negro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Pol UD supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pol UD would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
