Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Niceto Negro got the match started through his kick off. Niceto Negro might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inocencio Sauca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Negro ran back to his position shaking his head. Sinforiano Cartagena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Sauca having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patxi Toledo in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sinforiano Mera saved Pol UD from getting behind. Patxi Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sinforiano Mera having to interfere. Patxi Toledo took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sinforiano Mera. Sinforiano Mera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Midas Albizua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sinforiano Mera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pol UD's Filomeno Abril got a free kick in the 29th minute. Danilo Pujol kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Castillonroy AD's Carlos Rodriguez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With an all-out effort, Pol UD's Inocencio Sauca threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niceto Negro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Inocencio Sauca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niceto Negro's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Sinforiano Cartagena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Inocencio Sauca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 54th minute, Midas Albizua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Efren Esteban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castillonroy AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pol UD the free kick. Patxi Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Castillonroy AD booed when Pol UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Pujol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Midas Albizua got free with Sinforiano Mera in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Midas Albizuas short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Sinforiano Mera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Castillonroy AD's Inocencio Sauca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Negro in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castillonroy AD's goalkeeper Inocencio Sauca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sinforiano Cartagena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Midas Albizua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sinforiano Mera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pol UD's Sinforiano Mera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patxi Toledo in the 86th minute of play. When Niceto Negro came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Pol UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Negro couldn't finish the play.
