Ronaldo Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovando Marrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Boniel Iniesta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barea Solo having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Román Urquijo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Corumbela's goal looked a bit too open when Boniel Iniesta came free, but Barea Solo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Berriotxoa Roca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cubelles FC booed when Corumbela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Corumbela's zone, Berriotxoa Roca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barea Solo came out of the goal and Berriotxoa Roca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boniel Iniesta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Barea Solo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Corumbela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leroy Sabina to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Boniel Iniesta took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Barea Solo to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boniel Iniesta to make the kick off. Cubelles FC's Piorno Gómez pulled a muscle in his leg after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Honorato Correa's late challenge caught a Cubelles FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorato Correa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Corumbela getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Honorato Correa hit a great ball. Corumbela's Barea Solo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Ecija in the 69th minute of play. Julio Viqueira's late challenge caught a Cubelles FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Viqueira helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Corumbela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Barea Solo went to the wrong direction when Alarico Galnares was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Berriotxoa Roca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Barea Solo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cubelles FC's Berriotxoa Roca suffered a concussion after 74 minutes and had to leave the field. During the 75th minute of the match Julio Viqueira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Julio Viqueira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Corumbela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Narciso Casta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Corumbela defense, Narciso Casta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barea Solo. The Corumbela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barea Solo should have stopped the shot. Narciso Casta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Barea Solo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boniel Iniesta struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Barea Solo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cubelles FC.
