Shadows FC's Urko Reyes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Shadows FC from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, Black Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Laredo came free, but Antonio Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Shadows FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Bernardino Murcia hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerard Laredo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Vidal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Haroldo Zapata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Vidal having to interfere. Urko Reyes was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Hermelando Astudillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hermelando Astudillo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Hermelando Astudillo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Urko Reyes to make any attempt to save it. After 32 minutes, Hermelando Astudillo made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Shadows FC's Urko Reyes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hermelando Astudillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Urko Reyes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Urko Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermelando Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Hermelando Astudillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urko Reyes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermelando Astudillo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermelando Astudillo got free with Urko Reyes in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermelando Astudillo made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Cordero Turrilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shadows FC the free kick. The supporters of Shadows FC booed when Black Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordero Turrilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute, Shadows FC's Jonas Teruel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antonio Vidal. Antonio Vidal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. 55 minutes into the match, Shadows FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermelando Astudillo came free, but Urko Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Laredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Lions FC's goalkeeper Antonio Vidal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramond Barba scored 7-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Vidal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Black Lions FC's goalkeeper Antonio Vidal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerard Laredo. Antonio Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sagrario Abellan in the 85th minute of the match. Shadows FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Teruel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Shadows FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermelando Astudillo came free, but Urko Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Gerard Laredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Hermelando Astudillo made a precise shot to the right of Urko Reyes. Shadows FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-3. Hermelando Astudillo struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Urko Reyes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Lions FC. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Black Lions FC had won after a very even match.
