Fidencio Ramos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Genaro Ricoy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Esplugues de Ll.'s goalkeeper Fidencio Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zilvinas Ivinskis. If Zilvinas Ivinskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Gerardo Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U.E. Esplugues de Ll.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Checa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berdaitz Otero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fidencio Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Urko Carballeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xilo Martinez lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of PAKITOTEAM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of U.E. Esplugues de Ll.:s goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Berdaitz Otero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, U.E. Esplugues de Ll.'s goal looked a bit too open when Berdaitz Otero came free, but Fidencio Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes PAKITOTEAM got a freekick which was hit by Zilvinas Ivinskis. Berdaitz Otero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidencio Ramos having to interfere. PAKITOTEAM's Berdaitz Otero got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Garaona having to interfere. PAKITOTEAM's Ismael Garaona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berbiz Saez in the 95th minute of play. Fidencio Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Mora in the 98th minute of play. After having played for 100 minutes, Genaro Ricoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAKITOTEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Ricoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PAKITOTEAM had played much better football throughout.
