The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vitor Barroso's late challenge caught a Polinyà's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Bar Olimpic booed when Polinyà was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Duran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lico Leseduarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Falo Vera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartolo Ortiz having to make a save. After 31 played minutes Polinyà got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Ramirez. Zelipe Nieto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartolo Ortiz having to make a save. Falo Vera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Falo Vera got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Polinyà's zone, Falo Vera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Ortiz came out of the goal and Falo Vera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Zelipe Nieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Polinyà's Bartolo Ortiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Polinyà from getting a goal against them. Zelipe Nieto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 played minutes Polinyà got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Ramirez. Vitor Barroso struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Bartolo Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bar Olimpic. Zelipe Nieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zelipe Nieto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Ortiz having to interfere. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Polinyà's goalkeeper Bartolo Ortiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Falo Vera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zelipe Nieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bar Olimpic's Falo Vera got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Bar Olimpic's Vitor Barroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartolo Ortiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Zelipe Nieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zelipe Nieto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Bar Olimpic left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Polinyà.
