Albacete UD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dunwich Futbol Club the free kick. After some careless play in the Albacete UD defense, Sarracino Gabas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ventura Fernandez. The Albacete UD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ventura Fernandez should have stopped the shot. Siro Alfaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ventura Fernandez having to interfere. Felix Silvestre in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
