Eres CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yosua Orbiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Plauto Campoamor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Plauto Campoamor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Blasi Serrano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Plauto Campoamor in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mecina Tedel CD's Alvino Crespo got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 63 minutes, Narciso Rapado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mecina Tedel CD and the Eres CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Blasi Serrano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Yosua Orbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute Berdaitz Teresa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cedro Feliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cedro Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Soto in the 84th minute of the match. Plauto Campoamor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blasi Serrano having to interfere. Yosua Orbiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Blasi Serrano made a huge save. When Berdaitz Teresa came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Mecina Tedel CD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berdaitz Teresa couldn't finish the play. When Plauto Campoamor came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Eres CF fans jumped to their feet.
