Perico De Toro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Llin Huerta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Priego De Cordoba AD's Gergori Saavedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xano Galego in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Priego De Cordoba AD got a corner. Rayo Bayona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Naldo Camino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Priego De Cordoba AD's Ramond Prats getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Llin Huerta elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Llin Huerta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Priego De Cordoba AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Llin Huerta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perico De Toro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Eligio Fresnos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rayo Bayona's zone, Llin Huerta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perico De Toro came out of the goal and Llin Huerta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 played minutes Rayo Bayona got a freekick which was hit by Anter Jaen. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Perico De Toro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th minute Xano Galego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gergori Saavedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gergori Saavedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xano Galego in the 42nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Rayo Bayona defense, Eligio Fresnos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perico De Toro. The Rayo Bayona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perico De Toro should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Llin Huerta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xano Galego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Naldo Camino placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 95 minutes, Naldo Camino made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rayo Bayona's Perico De Toro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Xano Galego kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gergori Saavedra. That made the score 5-1 in the 98 minute of play. If Llin Huerta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 102nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Priego De Cordoba AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rayo Bayona had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
