Constancio Lopez de Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porfiro Abancens having to interfere. Juvenal Ramiréz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yago Correa, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 16 played minutes, Latorrecilla's Felipillo Colillas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juvenal Ramiréz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Latorrecilla reached it. If Chepe Llorente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Chepe Llorente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Latorrecilla getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Aita Japón hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Constancio Lopez de Toro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Porfiro Abancens. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. When Smenson FC's Chepe Llorente in 38 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Porfiro Abancens guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Porfiro Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eufrasio Calderon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Constancio Lopez de Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smenson FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constancio Lopez de Toro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chepe Llorente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alirio Font made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Chepe Llorente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Porfiro Abancens was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Yago Correa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Juvenal Ramiréz made a huge save. Chepe Llorente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Porfiro Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Chepe Llorente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smenson FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chepe Llorente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Latorrecilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmar Gelmiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Porfiro Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Gelmiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Chepe Llorente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Porfiro Abancens having to make a save. Constancio Lopez de Toro struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Porfiro Abancens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smenson FC. In the 79th minute, Damario Solera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Latorrecilla's Porfiro Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chepe Llorente in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Smenson FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alirio Font came free, but Juvenal Ramiréz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constancio Lopez de Toro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Constancio Lopez de Toro made a precise shot to the right of Porfiro Abancens. Latorrecilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Constancio Lopez de Toro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Porfiro Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Porfiro Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chepe Llorente, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Smenson FC's Chepe Llorente got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Smenson FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
