Zahar Bajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazario Cacheres, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Guifre Roca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Zahar Bajo made a huge save. Jacinto Vives sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guifre Roca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zahar Bajo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Loren Bargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nazario Cacheres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zahar Bajo having to interfere. Nazario Cacheres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Donato Revuelta charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Revuelta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Cadiz CF got a freekick which was hit by Donato Revuelta. After recieving a nice pass, FC Sanfeliu's Israel Rajoi tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Guifre Roca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Cadiz CF's Donato Revuelta got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Timo Calvo rounded FC Sanfeliu's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Guifre Roca struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Zahar Bajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Sanfeliu. Loren Bargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tulio Clemente having to interfere. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 75th minute, when Cadiz CF's Timo Calvo after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Tulio Clemente in FC Sanfeliu's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 77th minute, Loren Bargas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Guifre Roca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guifre Roca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Zahar Bajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cadiz CF's zone, Nazario Cacheres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zahar Bajo came out of the goal and Nazario Cacheres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nazario Cacheres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zahar Bajo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazario Cacheres in the 101st minute of play forced Cadiz CF's goalkeeper Zahar Bajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Sanfeliu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cadiz CF's performance. The match ended with a win for Cadiz CF.
