Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) Belo Santalla made the kick off and thus started the match. Bibiano Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Labastida SD's Lordi Grau in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD MONTE's goalie prevented a goal. If Lordi Grau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 7 played minutes CD MONTE got a freekick which was hit by Tulio Duarte. 11 minutes into the game, CD MONTE's Egun Rosario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Montez Gomar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Senen Amer charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Senen Amer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16th play minutes Belo Santalla shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Montez Gomar and just under the crossbar into goal. Montez Gomar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belo Santalla's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Belo Santalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Montez Gomar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Labastida SD got a freekick which was hit by Senen Amer. Bibiano Quiroga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ekaitz Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Ekaitz Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milio Cano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Montez Gomar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belo Santalla in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Egun Rosario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montez Gomar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Lordi Grau made the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Lordi Grau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD MONTE's Ekaitz Torres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Labastida SD booed when CD MONTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tulio Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lordi Grau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekaitz Torres having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Lordi Grau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ekaitz Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in CD MONTE's zone, Bibiano Quiroga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ekaitz Torres came out of the goal and Bibiano Quiroga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ekaitz Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lordi Grau, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Tulio Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Montez Gomar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to CD MONTE getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Misael Baeza hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, CD MONTE's Tulio Duarte got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Lordi Grau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ekaitz Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 90 minutes on the clock, Vigil Cayuela commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 89th minute, one of CD MONTE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD MONTE. Labastida SD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
