After a defensive mix-up in Loiola's zone, Allande Montes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anakoz Sancho came out of the goal and Allande Montes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rios Valverde in the 10th minute of play forced Loiola's goalkeeper Anakoz Sancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Rios Valverde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvino Abad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Aceves having to interfere. Allande Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anakoz Sancho having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Rios Valverde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Casimiro Echeto fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Borne's protests and gave Casimiro Echeto a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Club Atletico Borne got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Echeto. After 31 played minutes Loiola got a freekick which was hit by Leon Ricoy. Leon Ricoy was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Loiola's Leon Ricoy got a free kick in the 36th minute. Allande Montes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Anakoz Sancho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jacinto Sirvent hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes, Loiola's Esteban Barrientos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristobal Aceves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Loiola reached it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rios Valverde to make the kick off. The supporters of Club Atletico Borne booed when Loiola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilixo Sampil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anakoz Sancho came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Borne's Allande Montes. But to his dismay, Allande Montes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Anakoz Sancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rios Valverde in the 66th minute of the match. Rios Valverde struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Anakoz Sancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Borne. Rios Valverde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Onofre Olmos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cristobal Aceves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Valerón struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Cristobal Aceves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loiola. Alvino Abad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cristobal Aceves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atletico Borne's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
