Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amor Jaen to make the kick off. Lorencio Sarrate hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inge Campello in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nisio Castillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inge Campello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nisio Castillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amor Jaen in the 84th minute of play forced Mercadal's goalkeeper Nisio Castillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Castañeda AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Inge Campello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nisio Castillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Castañeda AD were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
