In the 10th minute Antxo Hidalgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Valverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Molina De Segura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Cabanela to maneuver through the defense. Antxo Hidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quilino Titos hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Solo in the 27th minute of play forced Serdio UD's goalkeeper Nabucodonosor Etxeberria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nabucodonosor Etxeberria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Solo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quilino Titos charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quilino Titos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Molina De Segura booed when Serdio UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quilino Titos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aiert Antunez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nabucodonosor Etxeberria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antxo Hidalgo made a kick off. Oton Gala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Valverde having to interfere. Quilino Titos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serdio UD's Nabucodonosor Etxeberria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aiert Antunez in the 82nd minute of play. Aiert Antunez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nabucodonosor Etxeberria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Solo in the 85th minute of the match. Bernardino Valverde came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Serdio UD's Antxo Hidalgo. But to his dismay, Antxo Hidalgo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Serdio UD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
