Uzuri Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uzuri Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Torre De Cartellà AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uzuri Rubio to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Torre De Cartellà AFC's Dalmacio Revuelta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Cienfuegos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Torre De Cartellà AFC's Marco Cardeñosa got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Torre De Cartellà AFC booed when Alicante AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Gonzalez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Torre De Cartellà AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Cardeñosa in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Cienfuegos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomás Cienfuegos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Revuelta in the 30th minute of play. Alicante AFC's Tomás Cienfuegos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Revuelta in the 35th minute of play. If Marco Cardeñosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmacio Revuelta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Cienfuegos having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Torre De Cartellà AFC got a freekick which was hit by Uzuri Rubio. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Cardeñosa made a kick off. Tomás Cienfuegos was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Marco Cardeñosa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco Cardeñosa really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. When Pablo Calatayud fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alicante AFC's protests and gave Pablo Calatayud a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alicante AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Pablo Calatayud hit a great ball. Dalmacio Revuelta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Cienfuegos having to interfere. In the 66th minute of the match, Marco Cardeñosa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomás Cienfuegos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Revuelta got free with Tomás Cienfuegos in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Marco Cardeñosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute of the match Ariel Castellano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Cienfuegos skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Alicante AFC's Ismael Llorca got a free kick in the 80th minute. Torre De Cartellà AFC's Marco Cardeñosa got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dalmacio Revuelta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
