Spectators: 7255 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 144) C.D.MALAGA's Salbatore Sainz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Prometeo Tobia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fix Pedriza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute of the match Vincente Riells sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prometeo Tobia skillfully saved the ball. 9 minutes into the game, C.D.MALAGA's Salbatore Sainz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prometeo Tobia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Salbatore Sainz sped through Tavescan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Prometeo Tobia. Bernabé Lozano charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernabé Lozano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tavescan's Bernabé Lozano got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 25 minutes of play, C.D.MALAGA's Fix Pedriza made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prometeo Tobia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lorien Fuente kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Tavescan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geleberto Zaplana to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Benito Morado sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tavescan's Prometeo Tobia didn't even have to move. Salbatore Sainz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute Llanos Valcarcel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prometeo Tobia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, C.D.MALAGA's Garibaldo Campoamor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prometeo Tobia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Balesio Torres made the kick off in the second half. C.D.MALAGA's Salbatore Sainz got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tavescan's zone, Fix Pedriza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prometeo Tobia came out of the goal and Fix Pedriza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot by Vincente Riells from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Prometeo Tobia's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 66 minutes into the match, C.D.MALAGA's goal looked a bit too open when Balesio Torres came free, but Severino Benítez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oto Idiaquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prometeo Tobia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garibaldo Campoamor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fix Pedriza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prometeo Tobia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garibaldo Campoamor in the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Salbatore Sainz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prometeo Tobia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fix Pedriza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.D.MALAGA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
