Spectators: 6674 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Walme Cao got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, RealGru FCT's Mon Gonzalvez got control of the ball when Cisco De la Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walme Cao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Montes Claros's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Titos came free, but Pepito Lorenzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Montes Claros getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Blasi Duran hit a great ball. Pepito Lorenzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaiet Dobale in the 21st minute of the match. When Luke Sabina fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montes Claros's protests and gave Luke Sabina a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Montes Claros's Luke Sabina got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Dario Titos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaiet Dobale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montes Claros's Walme Cao got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Titos in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pepito Lorenzo saved Montes Claros from getting behind. Dario Titos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Pepito Lorenzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaiet Dobale to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in RealGru FCT's zone, Cisco De la Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mon Gonzalvez came out of the goal and Cisco De la Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Walme Cao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mon Gonzalvez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepito Lorenzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaiet Dobale in the 63rd minute of play. Pepito Lorenzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaiet Dobale in the 69th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andoni Quijana during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of RealGru FCT booed when Montes Claros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andoni Quijana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Montes Claros's Pepito Lorenzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Montes Claros from getting a goal against them. After 93 minutes of play, Montes Claros's Cisco De la Rosa made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mon Gonzalvez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kaiet Dobale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Pepito Lorenzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montes Claros were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of RealGru FCT for a fine match.
